Café Delos

“Delos, according to mythology, the birth-place of Apollo and Artemis”

Completely refurbished in March 2004, Café Delos is a cut above your average museum eaterie, thanks to its stunning location in the main hall at the Royal Museum on Chamber Street - Edinburgh. Beneath the 78ft high glass roof that spans the hall, the cafe is set beside the ornamental fish ponds and fountains, a perfect setting for relaxing & people watching in the loft atrium. This informal table service café provides an interesting menu. Using predominately Scottish suppliers, sample our homemade shot smoked salmon pate and oatcakes or try a delicious cake from our cake display.

As a Green Tourism Business Scheme member, Café Delos is committed to environmental protection and sustainability. Café Delos strives to minimize operational impacts on the environment through resource conservation and environmentally sound practices.
