Toasting Scotland’s colourful History

Adjacent to the Royal Museum, the Museum of Scotland presents Scotland’s history from its beginnings to the twentieth century.

Soaring walls and the massive Greyfriars Window personify the main concourse of the Museum of Scotland. Created out of harmonising Clashach sandstone and wood it is as if it has been created especially for product launches and receptions.

The Museum of Scotland can be hired on its own, or magically deployed as a pre-event venue before dining in the adjoining Royal Museum.

Hawthornden Court, the main atrium of the stunningly-designed Museum of Scotland offers a surrounding of modern day majesty while the Early People Gallery offers an inspirational space for receptions and intimate dining. These galleries offer an impressive and elegant setting for private functions such as wedding ceremonies and receptions. At the rear of the Early People Gallery is the Dunfermline Room Lecture Theatre which offers a modern, cosy, almost tactile venue ideal for smaller presentations and meetings or seminars.
