A night at The V&A Dundee

On Thursday 20th Februarywe held an exclusive event at V&A Dundee.

This event took place in Tatha Bar & Kitchen, the restaurant with what has been appointed the ‘best views in Dundee’.  Dominating the high level east side of the award-winning building the floor to ceiling windows offer views across Dundee and the River Tay.  Fifty guests were invited to enjoy a 3-course dinner created by our in-house head chef which included locally sourced smoked trout, guinea fowl and a Dundee take on bread and butter pudding.

These corporate clients were able to see that this restaurant space can be used for intimate dinners for 30 just as effectively as larger events for 120.  By using the fully furnished restaurant, complete with fully stocked bar, we are able to offer a fantastic price for dinners – starting at £45pp for 3-course dinner with wine.

The main feature of a dinner at Tatha Bar & Kitchen is the exclusive use of the building.  At no other time is there the opportunity for a private after-hours experience in this globally recognised Museum. Arriving via the main entrance and sweeping staircase guests will be in awe of the space that is available exclusively for them before they enter the restaurant area where there is a more intimate feel while they can still enjoy the

High points from the dinner included the weather!  In true Scottish form it was a little unpredictable with beautiful sun on arrival, showing off the views over the Tay. And by the end of the dinner there was a spectacular rain fall which added to the cozy feeling as the rain hit the windows while our guests enjoyed their warming dessert and the beautiful sounds of the live guitar playing.

We had some fantastic feedback from clients which included:

Just a wee note to say thank you for having Aimee & I on Wednesday night. It was so lovely to see the event space in a nice, relaxed atmosphere.

The ambiance was on point!
