Sir Walter Scott’s romantic and slightly quirky house, surrounded by wonderful gardens, and overlooking the River Tweed, provides a unique venue for weddings and corporate or private functions.

Abbotsford, an amazingly interesting house, set in tranquil surroundings, was at the hub of the Borders social scene during Scott’s life, and can now be booked for a variety of functions including weddings [licensed for civil ceremonies],  dinners and receptions, together with corporate events such as launches.
