Contemporary Meets Traditional

Described as one of the finest 18th Century houses in Britain, Duddingston House is now available as an exclusive use venue for conferences and events. Located just 10 minutes away from Princes Street, with ample parking and gardens, it is difficult to believe that you are still within the city.

The House was designed in the 1760s by the eminent architect Sir William Chambers as a “bachelor pad” for the Earl of Abercorn. It was built to enable the Earl to establish his status and ambitions in Scotland and to impress and entertain his guests in beautiful surroundings.

Painstakingly restored, this elegant building with great fluted Corinthian columns and tetrastyled portico creates a breathtaking impression. A spectacular chandelier, striking staircase and impressive artwork in the Great Hall entrance lead directly into each of six rooms that make up this extraordinary venue. Each room has stunning contemporary décor, designer details and digital technology.

This flexible venue with a variety of sized rooms is perfect for away days, team building events, dinners, receptions, seminars and product launches.
