Lennoxlove House, home to Dukes of Hamilton since 1946, is set in an expansive estate near Haddington. Guests have been made welcome here for over 700 years, but the recent refurbishment of the property has created a new level of luxury while the historical significance of the house has been carefully preserved.

Following an extensive conservation and renovation project, Lennoxlove House offers eleven bedrooms which now provide exquisite facilities to complement beautiful public rooms - rooms with one of the finest private art collections in Scotland - that can now be hired for exclusive use.

With a blend of state of the art facilities with centuries’ old architectural features hand-blocked wallpaper from France, Colefax and Fowler fabrics, Sir Robert Lorimer architecture, and a helicopter landing facility, these are just some of the touches that make Lennoxlove House one of the most exclusive and unique places to stay in Scotland.

One new feature is a 16th century four poster bed in the ‘Lady’s Bower Bedroom’. Reputedly used by Mary Queen of Scots, whilst in captivity at Arden Hall in North Yorkshire, this intricately carved oak bed has been restored and beautifully furnished. It is not, however, to be treated as a museum piece and can be slept in!
