Gin and Jazz Tatha Takeover!

Surely there’s not much better than enjoying delicious food paired with amazing gin while enjoying soothing jazz all overlooking the river Tay after hours in the V&A Dundee!

Following the sold out Tatha Takeover with Praveen Kumar in January we are delighted to announce that the next event is on Thursday 27th February.

Tatha Bar & Kitchen will play host to a gin and jazz night with our local drinks experts, Persie Distillery who will be pairing the perfect gin to a delicious 3-course menu.

Persie Gin is teaming up with Merchant’s Heart, a Japanese ‘spirit enhancer’ designed to bring out the perfect flavour, aroma and carbonation to complement the botanicals in each of Persie Gin’s three expressions. You can choose your own perfect serve for Zesty Citrus Gin, Herby & Aromatic Gin, and Sweet & Nutty Old Tom Gin – each one designed to suit your palate.

Doors open at 6.30pm when you can enjoy your arrival gin cocktail with dinner served at 7pm.

The perfect gin pours will be complemented by Tatha’s delicious 3-course menu, taking you on a tour of fruity, savoury and sweet flavours – carefully curated for the perfect gin and food pairing.  And what better way to enjoy this taste sensation than when accompanied by the succulent sounds of mellow jazz.

Menu

Starter: Gin cured Loch Etive sea reared trout, pickled radish, tomato & avocado salad, quails egg served with a Worcestershire sauce and celery salt croutes

Main: Roast marinated highland Venison haunch, foraged mushrooms and salsify fricassee, parsnip puree served with a spiced sherry reduction

Dessert: Caramelised white chocolate parfait, sweet & sour rhubarb with vanilla bean ice cream and hazelnut puff pasty twists
