A year ago we had the pleasure of hosting a Halloween party at the stunning National Museum of Scotland. The evening began with a spookylicious drinks and canapes reception. The guests loved our themed canapes, like Frankfurter Sausage Fingers, served on canape trays filled with amazing Halloween pieces. This was merely the beginning of an evening filled with surprises!

Highlighting Grand Gallery’s soaring glass ceilings our event designers, in keeping with the Halloween theme, chose the combination of deep purple and slime green lighting, creating a dramatic look that set the scene for the rest of the evening. Projecting a ghost and a witch that were fading in and out around the gallery was a great touch. Tables were also dressed to impress – think glowing mini carved pumpkins and gothic black wrought iron candelabras draped in creepy cobwebs.

The fabulous meal featured another Halloween special - Witches Stew Pot! A chunky braised lump of beef shoulder, honey glazed onions & swede, charred pumpkin & cabbage mash finished with a Witch’s Hat of filo pastry.
