National Galleries Scotland modern one

The Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art comprises two neoclassical gallery buildings, Modern One and Modern Two. Both are set in beautiful grounds to the west of the city centre, just a ten minute walk from Princes Street. 

Home to all things contemporary, Modern One presents an outstanding collection of work from today's leading artists. Its bright, spacious rooms are perfect for stylish corporate events, drinks receptions or product launches.

Guests arrive via the sweeping driveway with views toward the Edinburgh skyline and Charles Jencks' award-winning 'Landform' installation. The beautifully manicured lawns offer the city's most in-demand marquee sites, providing a stunning backdrop for spring and summer events. 

Great for parties, summer barbecues and celebrations, Modern One's stylish café and terrace are available for evening hire with space for up to 80 for drinks receptions or 50 dinner guests.
