The National Museums of Scotland offer a stunning collection of museum spaces, each with its own unique qualities and style, perfect for a wide range of events, from spectacular awards dinners for 950 to small private meetings for eight.

The Grand Gallery at Chambers Street with its towering ceiling, elegant pillars, staircases and fine Victorian architecture is a spectacular backdrop for all kinds of large scale event. The recent £47m refurbishment features the Grand Gallery with a capacity for 1500 for a drinks reception or 950 for formal dining.

Hawthornden Court offers a surrounding of modern day majesty and theatrical backdrop for drinks receptions and dinner. The adjacent Kingdom of the Scots Gallery offers additional reception space enabling the two spaces to jointly accommodate up to 700 guests for a drinks reception.

The Early People Gallery, directly below Hawthornden Court, offers an inspirational space for smaller receptions and more intimate dining for up to 120 guests. At the rear of the Early People Gallery is the Dunfermline Room Lecture Theatre - a modern venue ideal for smaller presentations and meetings or seminars for up to 40 guests.

The Connect Gallery is full of exciting objects and interactives, making it an unusual and entertaining setting for informal gatherings and receptions for up to 180 guests. 

All the galleries offer impressive, elegant or contemporary settings for private functions such as wedding ceremonies and receptions.
