Easter Weekend Fun at Musselburgh Racecourse

Back by popular demand, Easter Weekend at Musselburgh Racecourse will be filled with top quality racing and great family activities. It kicks off with Good Friday Racing featuring a total of £160,000 Prize money, followed by Easter Sunday Family Day. There will be a funfair with rides, Easter Bunnies to meet the kids and so much more! Do you reckon your kids would like to be Sherlock Holmes for a day? Why not bring them along to the Scottish National Portrait Gallery for a fun day of clue following and mystery solving! Your kiddos might need a wee sit down and a cuppa after all the detective fun – so pop in to Café Portrait, try scrumptious homebaking or lunch and make a day of it?

Lichtenstein Easter Art Explosion

This Easter break the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art is packed with great activities inspired by the work of Roy Lichtenstein, one of the most influential Pop artists of 20th century.  So head along, give free reign to your imagination & create your own artwork! While you at the Gallery, why not pop in for lunch or a lovely cuppa and cake to Café Modern One?

Eggstavaganza Hopetoun House

Looking for something different to do this Easter Monday? Hopetoun House will be hosting a range of eggcellent activities for kids of all ages – egg decorating, competitions, you name it! Don’t forget to bring a hard-boiled egg to partake, advance booking is required. When you’re there, why not enjoy a lovely family walk through the beautiful grounds and complete the day with delicious homemade lunch or a fab afternoon tea at the Stables Tearoom?
