Heritage Meets Celebration: Catering a Landmark 40th Anniversary
A Night to Remember
In March, we had the honour of catering the 40th anniversary celebration – and what a night it was! Set in the breath-taking Grand Gallery within the National Museum of Scotland, the event brought together 750 guests for an evening that was as dynamic and elegant as the venue itself.
A Spectacular Setting
The Grand Gallery, with its soaring pillars and natural light, provided the perfect canvas for a night that fused flavour, style, and spectacle. Designed by our wonderfully creative Event Designer, Kirsty McIvor, the celebration was a true reflection of the client’s heritage and forward-thinking spirit.
An Elevated Culinary Journey
Guests were welcomed with champagne and a curated selection of canapés, setting the tone for the culinary journey to come. As the evening unfolded, the gallery transformed into a vibrant hub of themed food stations, each offering a sensory delight. From the fresh and zesty Coastal Shack to fluffy Chinese Steamed Buns, indulgent Brazilian-style meats, and colourful plant-based creations, the variety reflected our passion for flavour, flair, and thoughtful sourcing. And for those with a sweet tooth? A nostalgic Ice Cream Station brought smiles all round.
Entertainment That Lit Up the Night
The energy of the night was amplified by live music, pipers, and a show stopping Massaoke finale, ensuring every guest left with memories to savour.
A Collaborative Vision
We were proud to collaborate once again with the brilliant Planet Flowers, whose styling brought warmth and depth to the expansive gallery space, and the talented Craig Heaslip, who captured the evening’s highlights with signature finesse.
It was a privilege to be part of such a milestone celebration!
