A Night to Remember: Celebrating 70 Years of the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo
Celebrating 70 Years of the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo at the National Museum of Scotland
This August, we had the privilege of hosting a truly special dinner to mark the 70th anniversary of the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo. Set in the magnificent Grand Gallery of the National Museum of Scotland, the evening was a celebration of Scottish heritage, hospitality, and creativity.
Guests enjoyed a selection of seasonal canapés before sitting down to a beautifully crafted three-course dinner, paired with exceptional wines. Each dish highlighted the best of locally sourced Scottish ingredients, bringing a sense of place and authenticity to the occasion.
The space was transformed by the talented team at Planet Flowers, who created stunning arrangements using blooms grown entirely in owner Gemma’s flower garden. This sustainable, personal touch added a sense of magic to the grandeur of the setting.
As the official hospitality provider for the Royal Gallery, we were delighted to invite guests not only to dine, but also to enjoy drinks and the unforgettable experience of the Tattoo performance itself. It was an evening where fine food, cultural heritage, and breathtaking surroundings came together in perfect harmony - a fitting way to celebrate seven decades of one of Scotland’s most iconic traditions.
A heartfelt thank you to all of our clients who joined us - it was a night to remember.
